CHEUNG WAI YI

(1) The licensee shall not, and shall not hold herself out to: (a) negotiate or arrange any new contract of insurance; (b) invite or induce, or attempt to invite or induce, a person to enter into any new contract of insurance; (c) invite or induce, or attempt to invite or induce, any person to make a material decision to make an application or proposal for a new contract of insurance; (d) give regulated advice on making an application or proposal for a new contract of insurance. (2) The licensee shall not receive or hold any monies, or be involved in arranging the transfer, remittance or payment of any monies (a) on behalf of your appointing authorized insurer or (b) for any policy holder, potential policy holder, insured, beneficiary or any person who may be entitled to receive any benefits or payments of an insurance policy. (3) Without prejudice to condition (1) above, the licensee shall not directly contact or liaise with, or engage in any client-facing activities with any policy holder, potential policy holder, insured, beneficiary or any person who may be entitled to receive any benefits or payments of an insurance policy, in whatever means, unless the relevant activities are conducted by the licensee in the presence of another licensed insurance agent who holds a valid insurance intermediary licence under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41) and is appointed by the same appointing authorized insurer.
